Updating a file on a production server before all the other components have been developed and tested can lead to security, reliability, and performance issues on that server. When you are ready to deploy your Outlook Web App customizations, create the custom form folder and copy all the source files and resources first.
I once had a helpdesk form that got changed along the way.
The updated form was being stored in the same public folder as the old helpdesk form.
I will put the link to it here: Helen Feddema's VB Script method followed by instructions on how to use it below.
Download the file code28and extract the zipped files.
If you are deploying the custom forms handling application to multiple Client Access servers, create all the custom form folders and copy the files to each Client Access server first.
Then, when all the files are in place, copy the files to each server.
Your last step should be to rename the template file or copy the file to the correct location.
This will help prevent problems with users seeing the updated forms and user interface files before the custom form handling software is fully implemented.
Current View Go to view/ Arrange By / Current View / Phone List With the list view up Right Click in the list headings area and a menu will appear.
Select Field Chooser In the Field Chooser Box Select "All Contact Fields" in the drop down.
To register small icons to represent custom item types in the Outlook Web App user interface, include a Mapping element inside the Small Icon Mappings element in the file.
